Inviting people to a space
Invite colleagues to a Rhazes space by email or QR code, choose their role, and manage invitations that expire after seven days.

Sending an invitation
Open Manage members on the space and invite by email address. You choose:
- The role they arrive with. Viewer, moderator or admin. See Rhazes space roles and permissions.
- A message, optional. Worth a line saying what the space is for, since an invitation to "Cardiology guidelines" from a name they half-recognise is easy to ignore.
Start people at viewer unless they are going to maintain the space. Promoting someone later takes a second.
Use the address they signed up with
Invite the email they use for Rhazes. Matching is tolerant of capitalisation and of the dots and plus-tags some providers allow, so small variations still find the right person, but a completely different address will not.
They do not need an account yet. Someone invited before signing up gets the space waiting for them once they do.

In their email, as a link that takes them straight to accepting, and in their Invitations tab in Spaces.
Invitations expire after seven days
A pending invitation lapses after a week and stops working. This is deliberate: an invitation link that lives forever is a permanent way into your documents sitting in somebody's inbox.
Managing what you have sent
In Manage members you see every invitation and its state, and for anything still pending you can:
- Resend the email, which also gives it a fresh seven days. This is the fix for an expired invitation.
- Cancel the invite, which revokes it. Rhazes asks you to confirm, because cancelling withdraws something a colleague has already been sent.
The QR code
A public space with instant joining turned on can produce a QR code from the space menu. Scanning it takes someone to the join page.
This is the one for a room rather than an inbox: a slide at a departmental meeting, a poster in the office, a handout at an induction. Download it as an image and put it wherever people are.
It only exists for spaces anyone can join. A private space has nothing to put on a poster.
