Finding work you think you have lost

Where missing Rhazes chats, recordings and patients usually turn out to be, and the one case where something really is gone.

Updated

Most of the time it is somewhere else, not gone

Work through these before assuming the worst.

Are you in the right account

A work address and a personal one are two different accounts with two different sets of everything. So is the public service versus your organisation's own deployment.

Check which address you are signed in as. This explains more missing work than every other cause put together.

Search rather than scroll

Chats are not deleted for being old. Search the sidebar for a word you know was in it, or the patient's name, rather than scrolling back through the list.

Was it shared with you rather than yours

Sessions and patients a colleague sent you live under Shared, not in your own lists. See When a colleague shares with you.

Unfinished recordings are on one device

This is the case that surprises people. A recording you paused partway through is held in your browser on the machine that made it. It is not on your account, so it does not appear on another computer, and clearing browser data removes it.

See Managing saved recordings and Clearing your browser cache without losing work.

Is the account in view only mode

In view only mode everything is readable but nothing can be created, which can look like features have disappeared. Nothing has been deleted. See Why Rhazes is in view only mode.

When it really is gone

If you deleted it, it is gone. Rhazes has no recycle bin and no soft delete, so deleted items cannot be restored, including by support.

The same is true of a space that was deleted by its owner, which takes its documents with it. See Leaving or deleting a space.

Still missing

Email support@rhazes.ai with the account address, roughly when you last saw it, and what it was.
