When a verification or reset email does not arrive

What to check when a Rhazes verification code or password reset email has not appeared, including hospital mail filters.

Updated

Give it a moment, then check spam

Mail is usually quick but not instant. Wait a minute or two, then look in spam and junk before requesting another.

If you find it there, mark it as not spam so the next one arrives properly.

Check the address you actually used

Look for a typo, and consider whether you used a different address from the one you are checking. A work address and a personal one are easy to mix up when both are open.

Hospital and NHS mail filters

This is the most common cause on a work address, and it is not something you can fix from inside Rhazes.

Many healthcare organisations filter or quarantine mail from senders they do not recognise, sometimes silently. Ask your IT team to allow mail from the Rhazes domain, and to check the quarantine for anything already held.

If you need it working today, using a personal address is a reasonable workaround for verification while IT sorts the filter out.

Request a new one, and use the newest

If you request several, only the most recent is valid. Working from an older email in your inbox is a good way to keep hitting an expired link.

Still nothing

Email support@rhazes.ai from an address you can receive on, and say which address you were expecting the mail at.
