Connecting a patient to your EHR
Link a Rhazes patient to their chart in your hospital EHR, on enterprise plans, from search or from the patient record itself.

Availability
EHR linking is available on enterprise plans. If you do not see a Cerner chart tab on a patient, it is not enabled for your account.
Two ways in
- From search. Search the patient's MRN in the sidebar and Rhazes finds them in your EHR, then creates and syncs the record for you. This is the quick path when the patient is not in Rhazes yet. See Adding a patient from your EHR by MRN.
- From the patient page. Open a patient you have already created and link their chart from the Cerner chart tab. This is the path when the record exists and you are connecting it up afterwards.
Once linked, the patient carries their identifiers from the source system, so the Rhazes record and the hospital record refer to the same person rather than two people who happen to share a name.
