The Files tab on a patient. Upload referral letters, imaging, discharge summaries, or anything else belonging to that patient.
Why put them here rather than in a chat
A file attached to a chat belongs to that conversation. A file on the patient is there every time you work on that patient, so it does not need finding and re-uploading for each new session.
Using them
Link the patient to a chat and the files come with the record. See Linking a patient to a chat.
