Saved contacts for sharing and email
Keep the colleagues you email often in Rhazes, so sharing a session or sending a document does not mean retyping an address.
Updated
What they are for
A short address book of the colleagues you work with, so you are not retyping an address every time.
They are used in two places:
- Sharing a chat session, where the picker searches your contacts and you can still type any address. See Sharing a chat session.
- Emailing a generated document straight from a chat. See Emailing a generated document.
Adding one
Add contact, then a name, an email address, and a department if you want one. The department is optional and does more work than it looks like it should once you have thirty contacts, because it is what lets you find the on-call radiologist without remembering which one you saved.
Finding and changing them
Search matches on name, email or department. Any contact can be edited or deleted, and deleting one only removes the shortcut. It has no effect on sessions you have already shared with that person or documents already sent.
A note on accuracy
A saved contact is a convenience, not a verification. Rhazes will send to the address you saved, so it is worth checking a new one against a directory before it becomes the address you reuse without thinking for the next two years.
For sharing specifically, save the address the colleague uses for Rhazes. An invitation sent to a different address of theirs will not reach their account.
