The calendar shows your week with tasks and scheduled workflows on the same view.
This is the part worth understanding, because it is not just a calendar of tasks. Your automation is on it too: the runs that have already happened, with their results, and the runs due to happen next.
Why that combination matters
Your workload is partly what you have to do and partly what is being done for you. Seeing them apart makes both harder to plan around.
If a scheduled sweep runs on Monday morning and files tasks, then Monday is busier than it looks on a task list alone. The calendar shows that before it happens rather than after.
Checking your automation
It is also the fastest way to notice that a scheduled workflow has stopped running. A gap where a run should be is visible on a calendar in a way it never is in a list. See Following a Rhazes workflow run.
