Completing and deleting tasks

Tick a Rhazes task off with an undo if it was a slip, and understand the difference between completing a task and deleting one.

Updated

Completing

Tick a task and it moves to Done. If the tick was a slip, an Undo appears immediately, so a mistimed tap does not lose the task.

Completed tasks are not gone. They stay visible when you choose to include them, which is what lets you show what was done rather than only what is left.

Deleting

Delete a task that should never have been on the list, or that is no longer relevant.

Deleting takes its subtasks with it. If those still need doing, move or complete them first.

Complete rather than delete

For work that actually happened, complete it rather than deleting it. Completing records that it was done; deleting removes the evidence that it existed. In clinical work that distinction is worth keeping, particularly for anything filed by a workflow as part of a safety net.
