November was about shared material: where your team's work lives, how reference documents are organised, and how quickly you can point Rhazes at exactly the right file.
Library is now Spaces, with QR invites
Library was the wrong word for what people were using it for: not a filing cabinet, but a shared place where a team or a patient's work lives. It's now called Spaces, and it works the way a shared thing should.
Adding people takes seconds, not an email round-trip. Open a space and generate a QR code — a colleague scans it and they're in. For a public space set to accept joins, the same code works as an open invitation you can put on a slide at the end of a teaching session. Email invitations still work when you need to name someone specifically.
You can see who's in a space. A dedicated membership screen lists everyone with access and lets you manage them, which matters when the space holds shared patient work and "who can see this" isn't a question you want to guess at. Visibility can also be changed after the fact, rather than being locked to whatever you picked at creation.
- Spaces can now have their own image, so it's easier to tell them apart at a glance in a long list.
Reference documents, reworked, with a medical coding library
- Reference documents can now be organized into categories, and moved between them, so a growing library of guidelines stays browsable instead of turning into one long unsorted list.
- Clinical guideline references now support images, so charts and diagrams in a guideline are preserved instead of being dropped.
- A new Medical Coding page holds coding-specific references separately from clinical guidelines, with its own rename, delete, and description tools — so looking up a code doesn't mean digging through clinical material first.
Reference a file or space with @ as you type
- Type @ in the message box to search for and attach a specific file without leaving the compose box or reaching for a separate upload button.
- Referenced documents now open in a slide-out panel inside the chat, so you can check the source without losing your place in the conversation.
- You can choose which space a chat should use before sending a message, so the answer draws on the right patient or team's context from the start.
- An unsent message and the space you'd picked now survive a reload, instead of being cleared when you come back.
Dictation, rebuilt
- The dictation interface was rebuilt so it's clearer when you're actively recording versus reviewing a finished transcript.
- Recordings now go through an automatic cleanup pass after transcription, so the text reads cleaner without you having to manually tidy up filler words and false starts.
- Key terms — things like medications and diagnoses — are now pulled out of a recording automatically, instead of you having to re-read the whole transcript to catch them.
- Recording again now adds to your existing text instead of replacing it, so you can no longer lose a note by re-recording over it by accident.
- Your screen stays awake for the duration of a recording, so it can't dim or lock and interrupt you mid-dictation.
Templates, tools, and document viewing
- Templates and tools now share a cleaner, borderless tab layout, cutting down on visual clutter when switching between them.
- Creating a new template is more streamlined, including uploading files directly into it instead of a separate step.
- Pre-Chart is now available as a document template, giving you a ready starting point for pre-visit prep instead of building one from scratch.
- PDFs can now be scrolled within the viewer instead of only paging, and no longer overflow the screen on mobile — reviewing an attached PDF on a phone is now actually usable.
New model and response length control
- A new response length setting (Low / Medium / High) lets you dial answers to just what you need — Low for a quick fact, High when you want the fuller reasoning — instead of one length for everything.
Fixes & polish
- Fixed the default dictation language not being respected in preferences, so recordings no longer started in the wrong language by default.
- Chat titles now generate correctly after a dictated session, instead of being left blank or generic.
- Fixed documents failing to print correctly on mobile devices.
- Fixed a bug in profile settings.
- Fixed the message box not resizing correctly as you type, so long messages no longer got cramped into a box that wouldn't grow.
- "Traditional SOAP Note" was renamed to "SOAP Note" for clarity.
- The homepage now loads noticeably faster on first visit.
