The difference from a chat
A chat is one conversation you steer as you go. A workflow is a sequence of steps you set up once, and then run whenever you need it, without steering it again.
Build it once, run it anywhere.
What a workflow is made of
A workflow is a set of steps joined together. Each step does one thing: read the patient record, ask Rhazes to reason about something, work out a number, take a different route depending on the answer, write a document, file a task.
You decide the steps and the order. Rhazes runs them the same way every time.
Workflows can also be chained, so one finishes by running the next. See Chaining workflows together.
Why that matters clinically
The value is not that it saves typing. It is that the same thing happens on every patient, in the same order, whether it is a busy Friday or not. A checklist you have to remember is a checklist that gets skipped.
